The Simple Sophisticate podcast began its fourth year this past September, and as we did I continue to feel fortunate for listeners’ interest and the guests who wish to stop by. This year’s topics ranged from contentment to daily routines to being a better partner to everyday life in France and enjoying eating each and every day. Below are the 14 top posts out of the 53 that were part of the 2017 year.

While today is the one Monday of the year a new episode does not go live, be sure to tune in next Monday (episode #189) when author and Francophile Jamie Cat Callan will stop by to talk about her new book Parisian Charm School: French Secrets for Cultivating Love, Joy and that Certain Je Ne Sais Quoi which will be released on January 2nd.

Thank you for tuning in, and if you have been enjoying the podcast, if you could take a moment to leave a review sharing what you most enjoy, you not only will help future potential listeners decide if this is the podcast they are looking for but also have the opportunity for your review to be shared on an upcoming podcast. 1. Hi Shannon, I would love to leave a review but when I press the … Here…button it takes me directly to your podcast, could you tell me how to access itunes so that I can leave a well deserved complimentary review. Thank you for all your hard work in producing this wonderful website, I wish you and your beautiful dogs much happiness and contentment in 2018, you have given me much food for thought and I only wish I had had access to all this marvellous wisdom when I was young. It would have been life changing….but better late than never.
With very warm wishes, Carol from Australia

    1. Thank you so much for your willingness to leave a review and especially for your kind words about the podcast. Simply sharing them here will make it available for me to share on an upcoming episode. To leave a review: If you click “here” it will take you to the podcast’s iTune Page. If you are on an Apple device, it will then give you the option to view in iTunes where you can then leave a review. If you are not on an Apple device you can go into the iTunes Shop/site separately, search for the podcast and leave a review. You can also leave a review on Stitcher or iHeartRadio or Spotify where the podcast is also shared.

  2. Shannon, I am so glad that I found you! I love the idea of being simply sophisticated and your blog has helped me create a vision of what that looks like for me. I love your tips for clothing and am evolving into my true signature style. I don’t worry myself with trying to stay on trend, but stay focused on what works for my body and the look I want for myself and that I am comfortable in. My biggest takeawy…you’ve given me permission through your encouragement in your blog to go for that more expensive quality piece of clothing. I am worth it and it looks really good on me! I am looking forward to learning more from you this year! Stay blessed and keep shining your light for the world to see.
