What a week of celebration and conversation.

I want to extend a tremendous thank you to everyone who stopped by this week to celebrate all things British. This yearly tradition has continued to be one of my favorite weeks here on the blog, and while I am a bit bleary-eyed from the immense screen-time, it was worth every minute to get to know you, the readers of TSLL blog through your comments, share with you new finds and discoveries, and find even more reasons to welcome additional Anglophile predilections into our days. 🙂

As if on cue, Mother Nature brought the rain which began Thursday, returned again on Friday and now, as I type Saturday afternoon, the rain is falling rather well. Perhaps she knew it was British Week on TSLL? 😉 Either way, the serendipity of it all made me smile from ear to ear.

  1. What a wonderful way to end the week. Congratulations to everyone, for me, winning is being part of the discovery, the joy of knowing like-minded souls, and an author who shares with a luxurious passion. What more could you want?

  2. Good morning, and congratulation everyone! 🙂
This was an fantastic week. Even Mother Nature contributed by sending rain in such a timely manner… I can also concur that here in Germany, Mother Nature “participated” abundantly… 😉

Thank you, Shannon. Have a great Sunday!

  3. Congratulations everyone! As one of the winners in last year’s French Week (a gorgeous Jean-Vier tablecloth & a pair of La Rochere wine glasses — & thank you very much again, Shannon, as we use them every single day to add some elegance to our meals & a reminder to slow down & enjoy ourselves) I can assure you that Shannon does not stint when it comes to quality & you will all LOVE your Brit Week prezzies! And thanks again, Shannon, for a fun week. The only problem I have is that my book lists — both To Read & To Buy — are getting insanely long. Although, as I remind myself, aren’t I lucky to have such a problem? 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

  19. Thank you, Shannon, for the most rewarding British week. I enjoyed it through Wednesday and shared with my mother every day. (In addition to past British and French weeks). Sadly, she passed away on Thursday after a long illness. Please know that your daily posts made her very happy.
Her mother, our Nana, was from London, by the way.
    Most affectionately,
    Jen

Given how enamored I was with each and every one, I have decided to treat myself to these items even if it takes me until British Week 2022. Thanks for the ideas Shannon!
