We are one month away from the unofficial start to the autumn season, and this year I am bringing the annual Fall Shopping Guide to you ahead of our regular schedule. Why? Well, in the past, I used to share it on September 1st, but by that time, the collections had been available for about two or three weeks, and more importantly, many of us have already started shopping to fill the gaps in our fall capsule wardrobe.

So this year, I am trying something new, and as always, I am learning. While many fall collections are available at this point, there are quite a few that are not. This made me quite happy actually because the brands are letting us savor the final month of summer. However, that means that many more finds will be shared in upcoming This & That post, more clothing and accessory finds than usual in the Shopping section of the T & T post because there will be gorgeous finds I want to share. Looking ahead to August 2027, I am now realizing the ideal time for the Fall Shopping Guide to be released is just after French Week, so the third week in August. But that is next year, and now, we have some beautiful trends to shop and items to become new favorites in our capsule wardrobe.

What you will find in this season’s Shopping Guide below:

  • A list of the new trends worth investing in (in other words, they will last for many years to come and transition well with previous seasons).
    • The two most frequently seen colors were chocolate and purple, and as you will see below in the shoppable items, I found quite a bit of chocolate worth investing in, but not much purple (a stunning tartan purple scarf in fact). However, I will keep my eyes open just in case I see items later this month and will share them, as mentioned above, in a future This & That post.
  • 60+ Shoppable, hand-picked items
    • Simply hover over and click the shoppable items and the brand and price will pop up, clicking will take you to the direct shopping site to explore the item further.
      • Note: There are a handful of items that don’t have a link when you hover over them. The links for these items are listed just below the image.
  • Posts from the new Signature Style series that is ongoing this year only (we are currently up to Part Sept (7), with Part Huit (8) being shared during French Week where we will talk (and shop) all about blazers.

While you shop, don’t forget to save when you use Rakuten (rebates), and if you find something you love, but aren’t ready to purchase it just yet, be sure to save it to KarmaNow. Also, when you’re shopping, while likely the new collections aren’t available for applied discount codes, I always search for possible coupons using KarmaNow, as well as simply search the name of the item + on sale in the Search bar of my browser, to see if any other site is carrying this item at a discount (department stores, for example). This will happen toward the end of the seasonal shopping season, but I have scored some great savings by being patient and searching for potential savings.
