  1. Thank you for the recommendations, Shannon. Looking forward to reading The Letter Carrier. Just ordered it. Nelle looks quite interested in the tomatoes at the farmers market.🥖🍅 🦮

    1. Happy Friday Judy 🙂 That novel looks wonderful. Thank you for sharing what caught your eye this week and thank you for stopping by. Nelle thoroughly enjoys going to the market each week – so many delicious discoveries! 🙂 Have a lovely weekend.

  2. Reading This and That is my ritual to celebrate the week end and I always find something interesting and beautiful to read or to inspire my future purchases. This week I must really thank you for introducing the Letter Carrier to me : it’s an Italian book that I completely overlooked but now I absolutely want to read it in its original version! The video of the Met exhibition is simply amazing : I do love Sargent and watching the tour of Sargent and Paris really made my day! So grateful for This and That!🤩

    1. Laura,

So tickled to have been able to find it and share. The Letter Carrier looks wonderful! I am currently reading a book that was translated from French that was a sensation in France! So grateful when these gems are translated into English for us all to peek into another culture, and a culture that you live in in this instance! 🙂 Thank you for stopping by. Tickled beyond that you include the T&T in your weekly ritual 🙂 And for sharing all that you enjoyed. 🙂 Happy weekend!

  3. The Home and Garden article is divine. So many wonderful selections to explore. Thank you for the inspiration.

  4. The Met exhibition is sensational, I really enjoy listening to experts talking about an artist as it brings their work to life. I’m always intrigued by the little details that I might have missed. Thank you for sharing Shannon. x

    1. Nicola,

So tickled you enjoyed the exhibit. I too love these films that let us walk through the exhibit with the experts. I learn so much more and feel more connected and aware than I ever would have been otherwise. 🙂 Have a wonderful start to the weekend and thank you for stopping by! 🙂

  5. I’ve ordered The Letter Carrier from the library, so thanks for that recommendation. I went to NY last week to see the Sargent exhibit at The Met, and it did not disappoint. I did not know Sargent worked at the Prado for a time as a copier and they had one of his copied paintings on exhibit.
The Monty Don cucumber Instagram post’s comment section is quite amusing and worth the visit as well!

    1. Cathy! How awesome that you had the opportunity to visit the exhibit in person! Thank you for sharing and for alerting us to take a look at the comments section on Monty’s IG post! Can’t wait to take a peek. Enjoy The Letter Carrier and have a wonderful weekend!

  6. Hi Shannon!
I can’t wait for the sequel to The Devil Wears Prada!! How fun and something to look forward to for sure.
I still love stopping by every Friday to see what you have in store for us. As always I appreciate you and all you offer. Thank you! Hope you and little Nell are good!!

    1. Lovely to see you in the comments’ section Tamra! 🙂 The Devil Wear’s Prada sequel will be fun and no doubt full of style inspiration! Thank you for including a visit to TSLL each Friday as part of your rituals! Tickled beyond! Happy Friday!

  7. Look at Miss Nelle in her fancy collar! 😊 Thank you for the great articles, Shannon. The Letter Carrier and Preserving the Seasons are definitely going on reserve at the library. I’m looking forward to watching Solo Traveling with Tracee. The trailer is so vivid. Have a great weekend!
