Happy holidays! And if you are shopping for or are a Francophile or Anglophile, this is the holiday gift guide you’ve been looking for. ☺️🇫🇷🇬🇧

But first, set aside some time to slow down, settle in and simply enjoy perusing this year’s annual Gift Guide from TSLL. Grab a hot cuppa or chocolat chaud. Maybe a nibble of something only savored during this cozy time of year, and while you peruse, I’ve selected a new holiday song that comes from one of the five new holiday albums being released this season.

Sprinkled with a dose of humor and paired with a catchy tune, Jimmy Fallon’s first holiday album is titled Holiday Seasoning. Listen below to his duet with Justin Timberlake, “You’ll Be There”. (And when you finish listening to this song, at the end of this post, I have another new track from a different album that was just released as well to keep providing a bit of festive music while you shop returning back to any items that caught your eye ☺️.)

Organized into categories to help you find what you are looking for: Perhaps you will be giving gifts to some people in person, but others the gifts will need to be shipped, or maybe, you will find something you absolutely love and want to let Santa know finding it under your Christmas tree gifted to you would be a lovely gift to receive, with each category brands from Britain and France have been included to ensure the Francophile and Anglophile will be delighted.

  1. Such a lovely selection and love the wrapping paper and of course I have already bought my scottie biscuits whilst in Scotland last week. I’m definitely feeling inspired. x

  2. Dear Shannon,
Thank you so much for this wonderful Gift Guide. There are many beautiful items to pick from. Maybe I will buy one or two for myself.
I wish you a wonderful holiday season.
    Best wishes from Germany ♥️

  3. Bonjour Shannon,
This is a great selection of gifts, many brands that I already had my eye on- Fortnum and Mason Advent calendars, and now their candles too. I think the Buche de Noel will be on my table for Christmas lunch, along with all the Walker’s Shortbread too. The Sarah Nelson Comfort and Grasmere Gingerbread is a must too.
I’m also going to buy that English radio that you recommended during British week, since I think my husband will get a kick out of it. So many great things, merci beaucoup! Unfortunately, The French Pharmacy has sold out of their Bonjour Beauty Advent calendar, but hopefully they will restock. New Christmas music too! This is a very thoughtful list:-)

    1. Thank you for stopping by Cannon and sharing what caught your eye! Your holiday sounds like it will be delicious! And I think you will adore the Roberts radio. I always have one on in the house whenever I am home. Such great quality sound, and aesthetically pleasing. (thank you for the update on the French Pharmacy calendar – I knew it was popular, so hoped some would still be available as they were just yesterday – wow!) Happy holidays!

    1. Logan,

So hard to choose! Oh my goodness – it really depends on what you want to enjoy each day of the month (and then budget). Have fun deciding! 🙂 And thank you for stopping by. 🙂

  4. Thank you for this beautiful list, Shannon. I consider this your gift to us! So many great ideas. I am always searching for a few special items for some special people that I have met online but never met personally. Most I have known for more than 10 years or so, and we are of different ages and backgrounds, and some even different countries. Our common thread is thread! We are quilters, sewists, tea drinkers, antique School Girl Sampler aficionados, and readers. I see several items that may work well. I have been at a loss, actually, and your research has saved me so much time. Thank you, thank you.

    1. Hello Lucy! Shannon always has such wonderful ideas on her gift lists. As far as your online set of friends~you most likely already know of them, but perhaps the Royal School of Needlework might have something of interest to you in their online shop. Have a lovely week💕~R.

      1. Oh, Rona, you have struck the right chord when referencing the Royal School of Needlework! One of our group did attend a fast-track class two summers ago. She learned, struggled, and was exhausted! Who would think that a sharp needle and some silk thread would take such a toll? The closest I ever got was driving by the castle on a bus tour. Ha, it’s better than nothing. I have several stunning books in my library that are still in print, and I will likely gift a copy to another person who is fascinated by the history and procedures there.
Best wishes to you for a stress-free holiday season.

    2. You are most welcome Lucy! Happy to hear you found some items that will work for your special people. It was fun to scavenger for these gifts and learn about a few new brands that I too will definitely be keeping on my radar. Wishing you very happy holidays. xo

  5. Such a lovely collection of ideas and so much fun to peruse, thank you, Shannon!(Emma Bridgewater mugs! Walker’s Shortbread! GRASMERE GINGERBREAD!!!) Many thanks, Shannon! xx

      1. And oops, all those ideas are for me!😁Love the holiday cards as well–Happy Holidays, Shannon and Puperoos!❄️
