The Giveaway Winners of TSLL’s 10th Annual French Week!
Sunday August 17, 2025

Thank you for reading TSLL. The first two posts are complimentary. You have 1 free post view remaining this month.

Become a Member for as little as $4/mo and enjoy unlimited reading of TSLL blog.

Oh, France, you have our heart and our appetite.

As we conclude this special week, a special week all the more because we have been gathering like this for ten years, thank you for stopping by and exploring, engaging, and hopefully discovering much that spoke to you and how you enjoy savoring the French culture.

This week set a record for the most posts shared during a French Week with 22, so if you missed any of them, they are always saved in the Archives on the French Week page. And don’t forget that TSLL’s Travel Guides for France, organized by region, and one specifically for Paris are always free and updated with each trip I take. You can find them all here.

I say this each year, but it bears repeating, especially if you are a new member and enjoying French Week for the first time, or have yet to win a giveaway and continue to enter, this post is a bittersweet post to write. I am elated for each of the winners. Some of the winners, as you will meet them all below, have been commenting for years, nearly a decade in one case, and others have just recently become members and have already joined in on conversations over the years whether in A Cuppa Moments or in other topical posts of their interests.

Please know that whether your Comment # was randomly the winner or not, what you give with your time, engagement and continued interest is seen and appreciated, not only by myself but other members and readers as well. In an online blog environment such as this, the primary way we can let someone know their words or fellow comments spoke to us is if we comment in return, and I know there is not always time to do this. I receive quite a few comments and emails expressing just this sentiment – “I am a regular reader, but a silent commenter.”‘ And those emails mean just as much as if you were a regular commenter, partly because I understand completely and am quite similar in my own reading and commenting habits. Also because I know life is full, and the content on this blog is here to support and inspire your life so that you can then go about living it!

And to those who do comment regularly, and often back and forth with each other, I delight in all that you bring to this space. I read every single comment, and while I haven’t been able to respond to all comments in each of the posts this week, it is my goal to do so during our other 50 weeks of regularly schedule content (British and French Weeks being the only exception). You bring so much energy and vivacity to this space with your vulnerability to share yourself in words, letting us all get to know you bit more, and I thank you, and I know fellow readers enjoy and appreciate it as well. Because we are a community of compassionate, thinking humans who are all trying to figure out and savor living well in such a way that each of us is fulfilled. And knowing others are traveling that journey, albeit uniquely for them and in their way that is most nourishing, provides more support and encouragement than we may at first realize.

While logistically we know I cannot give a giveaway to everyone, please know your contribution, however it is given as I already expressed above (visiting, commenting and/or sharing) is deeply appreciated. Thank you to everyone for your interest and support of TSLL and this community of which you are a part of and make it the special place on this world-wide-web thing-a-ma-jig that it is.

And before I forget! Last year I began the tradition of extending a Merci to TOP Tier Members for their long-time membership, and I will continue that again. I will do so in September’s Ponderings . . . post, so be sure to stop by. This week became so busy that I wasn’t able to properly go through my membership lists to check to see who has been an Active member since September 2020 – December 2020, and I just need time to do that. But I promise, I will, and I will do so in next month’s Ponderings . . . Which also means, while there was no Ponderings . . . this month, I hope this year’s French Week made up for that. ☺️

Oh! And don’t forget! Today is the last day to save 20% off French notepads The Ingredients for a Bonne Semaine and the Croissants notepads, (shop them all here), as well as 20% off all of TSLL’s books (signed copies). The discount has already been applied, no promo code necessary!

Following this post, the next new post will be on Friday with the This & That: August 22nd as I will be taking the first half of this coming week off, and making sure all of the giveaways are on their way to the winners. Speaking of which . . .

Let’s get to the winners, shall we?

If you are one of the winners shared above, please do share photos of your giveaways when they arrive or how you are using them in your everyday life. Email the photo to me or post on social media and tag @thesimplyluxuriouslife, and then I will be sure to share them in an upcoming A Cuppa Moments with members upon receipt. I am always enjoy seeing how members enjoy using their gifts and I know many members do as well. ☺️

Please contact me as soon as possible with the following information requested (shared above) so I can swiftly start the shipping process and ensure you receive your gift as soon as possible to begin savoring ☺️. While the Grand Giveaway will take time to arrive, I will be in communication with you throughout its shipping journey until it arrives safely with you.

This coming week I will be shipping and/or tending to each of the giveaways to hopefully have them all en route to the winners by the end of August.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter and if you also shared something about yourself or introduced yourself a bit more along with your entry, thank you. I do read each of your comments and emails, and while I wish I could send you all the giveaway, please know I hope you choose to treat yourself to something that will elevate the everyday and piqued your interest and spoke to your predilections. After all, welcoming a bit of the French culture we love into our everyday wherever we may live is a wonderful way to savor the culture when we cannot be there in person ?.
