Paris in the spring. As was discussed in episode #322 of the podcast with Rebecca Plotnick, whether you arrive early in April or later in May, the blossoms from different varietals of trees share their beauty. Therefore, walking is a must, or should we say flaneûring. And be sure to be prepared for rain at any time no matter how magnificent the sun may be shining.

With all of that said, style and comfort comes together, and while we each have our favorite pastimes and outings we want to partake in when we return or visit for the first time the City of Light, once we know what we will be doing, we can shop, pack and dress accordingly.

Below are three outfits I have compiled for strolling, for dinner, for visiting a museum or sitting on the terrasse or the jardin in the middle of the day, and among each three a few variations you can play with. Happy shopping, dreaming and visiting when you do. 🙂

  1. Shannon, did I read somewhere that you were planning a trip back to Paris this year or am I imagining things??

    1. Thank you for stopping by Kirsty ? Yep! On the first post of this year I shared that I would be making my way back to Europe and I cannot wait!! More to come as the trip nears. ☺️??❤️??❤️

  2. Très chic Shannon. I love the short jacket. It might sound like a cliché but Spring time in Paris is truly wonderful. I”m not sure if you recommended this book or not but’The Art of Flaneuring’ by Erika Owen( a travel writer )is a guide to this wonderful pastime not only in Paris but anywhere else((Tiller Press). Also for sustainable cashmere I love Brora Cashmere a family firm and all the clothes are made in Scotland.x
