When it comes to dressing well across the board for winter, warmth as well as style is hard to mesh entirely, but it is possible. In this month’s Outfits, I have pulled together two looks that marry style and function – warmth, but not too much; style while keeping the skin covered yet revealing a flattering silhouette and complementary pairing of colors.

In both outfits, a jean brand to keep in mind is shared. If that is spotlighted here isn’t the color or style that flatters your figure best, I encourage you to check out this brand’s homepage and peruse at your leisure as they have many different cuts, washes and designs. As well, a new book just released by the Countess of Carnarvon (inhabitant of the real life Downton Abbey) which looks quite interesting and ideal for the history enthusiast and Anglophile. All three bags that have been selected are brands I have in my wardrobe and highly recommend for their high quality and fair prices for that quality, and both sweaters are from brands I trust as well for their soft texture upon the skin yet flattering designs.

Have fun filling the gaps in the wardrobe you already have that you love by adding one or two pieces that maintain and/or up the quality of your capsule wardrobe and will be around for years to enjoy and pair with what works for you and your lifestyle.

Oh! And many of the items included are on sale (noted in the list below each outfit). Happy shopping!
