Each year, the opportunity to save on needed clothing, beauty and everyday lifestyle items arrives with Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale.

This year, the sale begins for everyone on Saturday July 18th and runs through August 9th. If you are a Nordstrom’s Cardmember, you will be able to begin shopping earlier. Simply login to their website to discover what your ‘start date and time’ is.

While each year I stock up on skincare items such as Elemis Cleansing Balm (shopped below in two different scents) and my moisturizer (La Mer), I also always keep my eye open for Simone Perele lingerie (a few designs were on sale, but nothing that caught my eye this year), Lauren Ralph Lauren coats, dresses and sweaters (a few worthwhile finds are included below) and anything else from trusted brands that would fill a gap I need.

This year, I have indicated items I love, have, and recommend with an asterisk, such as Longchamp’s Le Foulonné Small Dome Cosmetics Case (only $99). I have used mine for over two years now and love it for my travel makeup needs (I just bring along a few items as my skincare needs a larger toiletry bag. It is sturdy, has a strong zipper, and has an inside pocket for small items such as a brow brush. If you are in need of a similar travel pouch, this is a great one.
