Saturday late afternoon and actually more evening as it was about 6pm when Norman, Nelle and I snuggled in to the reading nook after enjoying an afternoon tea with a friend at Le Papillon following a morning of pottering about for many hours in the garden. Soon I was watching an episode of The Chelsea Flower Show from London, and noticing my eyelids were getting very, very heavy. Knowing I needed to write this post, the post that shares all of the winners of the giveaways for British Week, I wanted to write it and reach out to the Grand Giveaway winners with a rested mind, and so yep, now my mind is rested and I am so excited to share with you the results.

But I am most deeply wanting to extend a BIG and humble thank you to ALL readers who stopped by this past week on TSLL to make this a very special British Week. Oh my goodness. The response and engagement were a joy to watch and read, and I thank you, each one of you, for sharing all that you have and also for sharing so much time on TSLL over this past week. What a wonderful week it has been.

It’s been an interesting and fun week. Some posts made me think, some were my little escape to UK =)
This week we had our Book club meeting in our library and since my baby daughter had her first birthday two weeks ago I wanted to bring something to celebrate it with my Book club friends so I decided to make your Morning Glory muffins =) we all enjoyed them so much, they are really so yummy!

  20. Thank you for a wonderful British week, Shannon. I’m sad to not have been able to put my name in for champagne afternoon tea this year, but hope you’ll have more intimate meetups in the future. Congratulations to the winners!

  21. Shannon, I can see how you and the pups would get deliciously drowsy in your cozy reading nook. Thank you for another fabulous, informative and inspiring British Week!
    Congratulations to the winners! ☺️

  22. Shannon, thank you for all of the engaging content that you curated so beautifully. You have tapped into some of our lovely traditions and tastes. It has been a sensational week, as I woke up each morning in anticipation to see what was on the blog, I was not disappointed. Have a lovely day. X

  23. Shannon, thank you for a lovely British week. I especially enjoyed the articles on tea and they have inspired me to try some different teas-I’m enjoying my Lady Grey right now. Congratulations to all the winners and have a wonderful week.

  24. Thank you so much for all the information and opportunities for the give aways. I received my Cash’s bookmark today. It’s beautiful. I ordered one last year and now one this year. They are the nicest bookmarks I own. One I placed in your most recent book and the other is in ‘H.R.H. The Prince of Wales Highgrove; An English Country Garden, Bunny Guinness’. Also I ordered the 1 gallon Haws watering can, with the two roses. I am enjoying using it to water my pots…too bad we have such hard water, because it’s getting water spots. Oh, well. Still an awesome watering can.
My (2) favorite posts were the Anna Murphy interview and the Why Not…tea for one.
Congratulations to all the winners. Looking forward to French Week…lol.
