It is no secret I love a regular spa treatment – a facial, a massage, a pedicure. And when I need to save my pennies, I will schedule time for at-home facials and other beauty upkeep that is as restorative and fruitful as it is enjoyable to indulge in.

For the past five years I have been fortunate to find an esthetician that is as lovely as she is talented, and she has introduced me to a line of products that I have been wanting to share here on the blog. After purchasing a few of the products to try at home and giving them time to work their magic, I’m excited to finally share with you what I have discovered.

Perhaps some of you are like me and have the red bumps on the back of your upper arms? For more than twelve years I’ve tried endless different scrubs and lotions, but nothing worked, so I basically threw up my hands and accepted my fate. That was until Ciara, my esthetician at Misbehaven in Walla Walla, introduced me to Éminence’s Coconut Sugar Scrub.

I can attest, this scrub does work at reducing and finally eliminating these annoying red bumps. With patience and daily attention, in three months my arms look far different than they have since I was in my teens. And the good news, one jar will last approximately 3 months if you use the recommended amount – a dime size with a smidge of water.

Instructions for beautiful arms and endless sleeveless tops and dresses to be worn:

  1. Use a dime size amount in your palm, add a pinch of water (don’t dilute too much – just enough, so you can scrub the granules over your arm)
  2. Scrub for 30 seconds once a day for 3-4 months
  3. Follow with a rich body moisturizer or oil (I’ve been using Eminence’s Apricot Body Oil)
  4. Upon reaching desired results, use weekly or bi-weekly to maintain

So let me introduce you to Éminence. A Hungarian company founded more than 50 years ago, their products are all-natural such as fresh fruit pulps, plants and exotic spices from organic environments. Using hand-picked organic ingredients, they are hand-mixed in small batches to maintain their natural potencies which also allows the amazing scents of the natural fruit and plants to remain. I have to say, it is one of the first things I notice when these products are used during a facial – the scent. Immediately, I can determine the berry or fruit that is being used – absolutely intoxicating and relaxing.

A few other products I am currently lovely and using:

~Lavender Age Corrective Night Eye Cream

~Firm Skin Acai Berry Masque

~Apricot Body Oil

~Almond & Mineral Treatment

And if you live in the Walla Walla area, you too can schedule an appointment with Ciara at Misbehaven or simply stop in to pick up Éminence products in person and ask any questions you may have.  Misbehaven recently moved into their new location which originally was a livery stable, and the space is expertly lay-out with simple, yet stunning decor details. Christy Bloom, a local interior designer, deserves a much applause for blending modern elements with rustic, touches to pay homage to the origin of the space.

  1. I was so pleased to see this line of products featued! I too became absolutely hooked on it about three years ago. I use the eucalyptus face wash and the apricot whip moisturizer. I love the makeup remover and lemon lip balm. It is an expensive line but you only need the smallest half-dime size amount of the cleanser, so it lasts a long time. I wish i had started to use it years ago, but am glad to show myself some special care by using such great products. I have other products as well, its always a treat to have a spa time at home when you have great products that make your skin glow afterwards. Thanks for this post, really enjoyed it. Love your blog, it is the first thing i open with my coffee in the morning. Fashion pics are my fav, (next to Eminence products!).

  2. Today most of beauty product has lots of chemicals which is very harmful for the skin but I am happy with eminences brand beauty product which provide organic skin care.
