While filling a few gaps in my fall wardrobe this season, one of the online shops I visit is the French brand Sézane. I initially was hesitant as often French brands run short for me in my arms and legs, but their dresses have regularly caught my attention. I added a belt, and waited for the items to arrive from France. I was not disappointed.

Their Jeannette linen dress (see right) and Fétiche belt in natural (in above collage) are now in my closet and ready for early autumn and spring. Changing up the belt with the neutral dress will quickly and subtly change the the outfit, and whether wearing sandals in warmer weather or knee-high boots in fall, I will be returning to Sézane regularly.

With the delight of how the dress and belt fit and looked, I wanted to pull together an effortless French-inspired outfit for autumn styled primarily with Sézane finds. And since we’re talking about France, I couldn’t help but include a much-anticipated cookbook from American cookbook author living in Paris, Dorie Greenspan. ☺️🇫🇷❤️ Happy shopping!

  1. Bonjour, Shannon,

I, too, was taken with This Dress when first introduced last spring. With all the Sold-Outs, it took 4 attempts to finally score! And I am so glad that I did. Absolutely one of my favorites of all time. Enjoy yours.

  2. Just read the post and quickly ordered the dress! I lost out on the polka dot Louisa dress and have been impatiently waiting on a (hopeful!) restock. I’m glad I didn’t hesitate on this one… ☺️
