Food, stepping into the kitchen, sitting down for a delicious meal cooked by friends, family or a talented cook or chef and enjoying a meal is a truly simply luxurious experience. With each passing year, food and the enjoyment of creating and sharing and learning about it increases in my life and I so enjoy sharing all that I discover.

This past year I had the opportunity to travel to Normandy, France and learn cooking techniques as well as sit down and dine with the talented American expat living in France Susan Hermann Loomis for four days, and it was an experience I savored literally and figuratively.

Sharing a meal with others, cooking for others or simply and most importantly perhaps, cooking for ourselves in our everyday lives is an awesome gift as it is not only an immediate pleasure but a long-term investment in our health and longevity. I look forward to bringing you a third season of The Simply Luxurious Kitchen beginning in September 2020, and in the meantime sharing a recipe here and there that tantalizes my tastebuds and I cannot help but share. Below are the top five recipes shared on the blog as well as the cooking show. Happy cooking and dining!
