~I invite you to listen to the audio version shared above, where a guided meditation is provided that follows what is shared below in the text.
The tickle of curiosity to explore something that keeps visiting your mind, this is where the idea of what will fulfill you begins.
We never know where these ideas will lead, but because it piques our curiosity, when we engage in learning more or partaking in it, we feel energized, alive, and fully present, then we know we have found something to pay attention to, to invest in, whether with our time and attention or in other ways to nourish it further into being.
Because we simply engage without expectation, as we thoroughly enjoy what we are doing now, in the present moment, we set ourselves free, and the possibility of what will unfold is free as well to become what it has the potential to be. Meditation teaches us how to become more comfortable with letting go and how to hold our mind in observation so that we can trust what we are witnessing.
Gradually, through continued engagement with this idea, we realize it is about the full presence we bring and the journey, rather than any final destination or outcome we may eventually reach.
So long as our engagement is sincere and guided by loving-kindness, having let go of trying to control what our efforts must bring forth, we experience what has always been available for us, a feeling of contentment.
Let’s begin . . .
~To conclude each meditation session, I encourage you to recite a mantra of your choosing and design. In the Contentment Masterclass, I share my example, which you are welcome to use, tweak, or look to as a template to design your own. Also provided to enrollees of the course is a free trial of the guided meditation app I use.
