If we never open our eyes, we would never see the beauty of the world.  If we never choose to listen, we will never hear words of wisdom. And if we never seek out the good, we will never recognize it when it appears.

Yesterday, Diane von Furstenberg revealed her spring/summer ready-to-wear collection which was inspired by the premise “beginnings, hope”. Cognizant and appreciative of the weight of the day which held so much historical emotion and grief, she chose to look ahead, to inspire strength in the women she clothes and the city and country she resides in.

While simplistic in its message, I have to ask, is there anything more appropriately powerful and unifying to describe the path out of such a complex ten years?

“Imagine. Become. Reveal. Success.” —The Daily Love

The key for anyone is to understand that beauty, goodness, peace, success – whatever it is that you desire – isn’t found unless we look for it.  It isn’t plausible unless we choose to create it and it won’t last unless we treasure it.

Granted, when we do choose to open our eyes and ears, not all that we see and hear will be welcomed, some of it will be quite painful, but we can find it if we seek it out.

And when we find it, there is reassurance, an uplifting feeling of hope and renewed strength to build upon what each of us has already put into place by traveling a hope-filled journey toward what we wish to find.

Whatever it is you are looking for, you will find.  Focus on the goodness, hold fast to a positive attitude and stay keyed in on the image of your idea coming into fruition because each one of us has the ability to contribute to the world we live in so that it makes a difference – one way or another. What will you choose to seek out?

Have a beautiful Monday and an inspired start to your week.
