Each year as British Week rolls to a close (two more posts tomorrow!), I have chosen to conclude with the grand giveaway being a Fortnum & Mason’s Hamper because well, the hampers are such a keepsake, and there is something about British nibbles paired with dependably delicious tea that resonates with the ethos of living simply luxuriously. Slowing down, savoring and being, in other words, living consciously, partaking in the present moment with intention.

And with this year’s Grand Giveaway, I wanted to do something slightly different to ensure the winner is receiving what they will most look forward to receiving.

The Grand Giveaway’s Fortnum & Mason Hamper will contain contents chosen by you, the winner. One of the unique offerings by F & M is that you can select what to include in your hamper before you send it on its way to the recipient – customizing your gift, whether it be you or someone else, and it is something I do from time to time for those I care about when a special or occasion of need arises for comfort or celebration.

So to enter the Grand Giveaway, please select the following in your comment:

  • A favorite tea varietal
  • A sweet treat
  • A savory treat

Click here to start shopping (don’t worry about the hamper selection as I will determine that based on the winner’s selections).

Once the winner is selected, I will put together the basket, adding one or two things more depending upon the room left available, and send it your way. Fortnum & Mason ships quite swiftly, so you should receive the hamper in about a week once the order is place which I will do early next week.

Fmteatinteacuptraystovetop

Have fun perusing the oodles of options to feather your hamper with, and be sure to consider this gift idea for yourself and others you love as there is just something delightful about receiving a hamper full of treats and surprises.

~Seen in the photo above is a new tea I have been loving from Fortnum’s – their second flush Darjeeling, Heath Row blend. After falling in love with the second flush this past fall, I have discovered it is hard to find, but worth the search, so if you are looking for a subtle, smooth, almost silky tea, I recommend it.

  • Select the three items listed above from the pages on F&M, click here to begin.
  • Circle back to this post, and leave a comment with your selections.
  • Enter by Saturday (tomorrow) May 25th at noon Pacific time.
  • Check back on Sunday morning – May 26th – to see if you are the winner and claim your prize no later than Monday May 27th.
  • Good luck!
