Let me set the scene for you here at Le Papillon as I type. ☺️

Miss Marple’s The Moving Finger is playing on BritBox, Nelle is stretched out laying against my leg as we are squished into the green striped chair in the living room, and I can here birdsong just outside the window as the warm day begins to slip into a brilliant evening. Soon, I have a feeling, we will move to the garden porch to do a bit of reading (The Antique Hunter’s Death on the Red Sea!)

All of this is to say, British Week is lingering and in the most wonderful of ways. I hope you had a wonderful week perusing the content, learning about new or new-to-us Britain finds and treasures, and I mostly want to thank you for your engagement and time – with each other and with me. I know just about every single one of you stopped by multiple times, often every single day, and then twice a day, and that is thrilling to know and motivating to me as I do my best the rest of the year to come up with a week that you will find to your liking as it pertains to celebrating all things British. I am still catching up on responding to comments in the non-giveaway posts, but look forward to doing in the beginning of next week.

May the next 51 weeks of the year be sprinkled with touches of the British culture you love and enjoy, and then let’s meet again next year around the same time, shall we? ☺️
