October is fully autumn wardrobe time – not too much, not too little, and finding just the right balance of layering for style, comfort and indulging in all the lush colors and fabrics of the season.
In this month’s Outfits of the Month, I am bringing your attention to a brand based in London that while founded in 1999 is lesser known than others, but definitely one to know about – especially for our community. A mid-luxury brand, Aimé offers everyday style “with a considered, French touch”. See what I mean! ☺️🇫🇷❤️🇬🇧. Their sweaters caught my eye recently as while classic, the silhouettes are more flattering than the traditional crew-neck for example. Their pink sweater is shown above, as well as in an outfit below. However, if you don’t want to ship from England or want to save a bit, I have sourced a Gap sweater that is similar in style, just not in fabric or quality.
With three long car coats, all below $500, and each timeless staples, whichever outfit or items speak to you, if you need a chic coat for autumn, we’ve got you covered. ☺️ Oh! And two items included in the outfits were inspired by Jennifer Aniston’s wardrobe in The Morning Show – a skirt and a necklace, each at great prices. And of course, books are paired with each outfit with three of the four being released in the coming months, so a heads up on titles to save or preorder now.

What a lovely collection, Fall clothing is such a treat, and a change from Summer wear, isn’t it? My Summer has decided to leave today. Cool, dark, rainy, moody skies. It’s a love-hate thing with me. The clothing in this selection is a grand classic collection. I am a Tuckernuck fan for a while, that white cable sweater is beautiful. I have seen quite a bit of the pink/mauve/purple in sweaters and in dresses this season. During late Winter 2025 I was able to pick up some beautiful ones during the sale. Thanks for the heads up on the books too, French Cooking for Two has a bit of a nod to me, I will check that out. Have a nice week of firsts, my absolute favorite moment of October came when I saw our first Blue Birds in 50 years yesterday at my birdbath. I actually cried a bit, they were stunning!
