Oh, France. 😌

There really is no place like her, and to celebrate the French culture with fellow Francophiles continues to be a special week to savor here at TSLL.

Thank you for sharing our common enjoyment of French food, French culture, French style, French décor, travel and everything in between this week with fellow TSLL readers. From your comments, your enthusiasm, your exchanges and discoveries, all of what each brings really does make for a special week here on the blog, and I cannot thank you enough for being here to celebrate the Annual French Week.

The final day of announcing the giveaways each year is always a bit bittersweet because not only is the week coming to a close, but only a handful of winners can take home these gifts which, oh my goodness, makes it more than a bit difficult to type the official names once the drawings have taken place because I know I would want to see my name listed, and I also know the odds aren’t in my favor. So with that said, keep this in mind: Each gift chosen as a giveaway – the brand and item, etc. – is chosen each year because I love it, recommend it and would, if I haven’t already, welcome it into my life gladly. So if Lady Luck is not on your side today, take note of which giveaways spoke to you, write them on a list or place a note somewhere (saving the link to the site or item), and if you still have a curiosity to welcome it into your life down the road, why not – pourquoi pas ? – figure out a way to do so?

Case in point, I will be purchasing an Aplico teapot to match my teacup & saucer and maybe even a few more of the teacup pairings as I have been searching for them for years! I adore them and use them often. I was so tickled to finally find a company that ships them internationally, and when I found them I knew immediately what the Grand Giveaway would be this year.
