One of the most common questions I receive that I have not been able to offer a sourcing link to for readers to shop this treasured item is about my large French tote that has natural and navy stripes (see photograph below).

Until today . . . ☺️

It happened this summer in Oregon of all places that I discovered a tote that was very similar to the one I found at the market in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence back in 2018 (see my detailed post on visiting this market and many more in Provence during my trip). Checking out the tag on the bag, I discovered the name of the tote – Santa Cruz, and in this case, it was sourced by a US company named Shebobo, but they are included in other shops online if you do a search. Shebobo however had the most extensive inclusion of different colors and designs which is why I selected it for this giveaway. However, simply search Santa Cruz straw totes and you will find aplenty out there (just not as inexpensive as you will find them for in France at the markets – I think I paid €39).

Ranging from $70-90, these totes are wonderfully large, well-made, lined and even have a small pocket inside for mini items so they don’t fall to the bottom of the tote. The handles are covered in leather and the corners fortified with leather as well. I use my tote for transporting all sorts of things, taking with me when I travel to the coast as it is strong enough to hold say a bundle of books that I am dropping off at the bookshop to be sold, but also stylish when I am lugging my goods from my car to the location.
