Such a big Thank You I want to extend to the @bookloftoforegon and specifically Becky for creating a welcoming space for guests and the book reading. It was such a treat to be back in this special independent bookshop and grateful to all of those who attended. 😌📖💛

Picking up a bundle of truffles for this afternoon's book signing event from @arrowheadchocolates - my go-to Dark Chocolate peanut butter, then a classic Dark Chocolate Chocolate and adding something new to the mix, a milk chocolate mint truffle. Yum!!!

This delicious dessert has now been consumed by three people (one was moi ☺️) and it was delicious AND something else that is sweet is that it is Friday!

And not just any Friday, but a British Week Friday for the weekly This & That post. Soooo many British-themed items ➡️ With so many items included in this week’s T & T, I had to create two image collages (see above and to the right on the blog - if reading on your desktop/laptop). Okay, so there is a book for just about every interest – capers, cookbooks, travel, special edition classics, and series. A new-to-me mystery series on BritBox, a podcast hosted by Lucy Worsley I have found quite fascinating, clothing items exclusively from British brands, the grand celebration taking place currently in Britain, and yep, the second Downton Abbey film that premieres today in the states. Plus, so much more.

On the road for a few days to tomorrow's book signing at @bookloftoforegon and stopped for a night in Walla Walla, a town the boys and I spent much time in quite a few years ago as I worked away at a favorite patisserie here in WW, explored the wine culture and the many cultural offerings such as a visit to Whitman College by David Sedaris!!

Norman is such a good travel companion, and while I tend to some work in the lobby, Norman watches the guests walk by. Grateful for how well he travels.

Staying at @therookeryhotel in London for a couple of nights was indeed a treat (complete with the perfect feline host ☺️). Now up on the blog a full tour of my stay and why the location is ideal for bustling about the city without paying a luxurious price for the luxurious accommodations.
