Infusing your wardrobe with a ladylike tone doesn’t always require us to wear a dress or a skirt, simply wearing well-tailored pants or a blouse with chic and signature accessories works just as appropriately. However, I must admit that wearing a dress or a skirt is far easier in the morning when trying to make a decision, especially a dress – one major item and done.
Regardless of your preference or what you choose to wear, it is a woman who exudes confidence, an air of mystery and self-respect that ultimately exudes a ladylike allure.
Today’s Outfit of the Week narrowly was selected over Victoria Beckham’s pencil skirt style (which is partially why I included yet another image of her just in case you want to vote for her outfit again), and I must say the Michael Kors’ Selma tote has captured my attention. A simple outfit for errands and weekend comfort without losing a bit of style.

Hi Shannon, outfit no. 8 is beautiful and so girly and feminine. What a beautiful blouse. It would also dress up dark denim skinnies or a navy suit for work. Very versatile. Just what a capsule wardrobe needs.
The last picture, tie-neck blouse, gets my vote!
Sweatshirt style is in the air! I’ve been seeing a lot of sweatshirts dressed up lately. I definitely want a chic sweatshirt to pair with some skinny jeans and low heels. And I love the full midi skirt in the 2nd photo, though I’d go for a black/white/green skirt instead. Have a lovely day!
Love outfit #9 white dress tan leather belt 🙂
Love Victoria Beckham style and she is a constant source of inspiration for me. I really like the denim skirt with the denim shirt paired with pumps. Thank you Shannon for providing these style inspirations. These are so helpful in mixing and matching pieces I already have in my closet.
Love the blazer and bow blouse look. All the chunky gold makes it new!
What kind of purse is actually in the photograph? And the bracelet is very nice–what is it?
This is so much fun Shannon…I really love the whole idea! These are all inspiring but I have to say that #4 is my fav! Ines de la Fressange…..need we say more!!???
Cathy
Not one more word is necessary. 😉
although PS..I think I should be really considering getting a denim pencil skirt
Beautiful choices.
Love your posts! Thanks so much for them. Do you by chance know who makes the laced shoes in picture number 7, not necessarily in leopard print, plain would be lovely too. Many thanks!
# 3 please….black and white!
Love the pics. Very inspiring<3

Thank you
Outfit #7! I love Capucine’s style, tres chic!
Love the last look…beautiful white blouse, navy blazer, gold accents…classic perfection.
Love outfit for Week #5! Simple easy and oh so sylish!
Thanks.
None of the pieces in Victoria Beckham’s outfit are standouts, but all together…stupendous!! Once again, it is the details that make the outfit.
I like the last outfit with the blue blazer, bowed shirt and gold accessories.
Lovely!
I love the look of #3 and the shoes are wonderful in 4. Love the tie neck blouse in the last photo. Something to love in every pic really. But my vote goes for photo 1 – the dress with the cardigan on Victoria.
Love this post. My style resolution for 2014 is to refine my personal style. I have been drooling over Victoria Becham’s ladylike style for long and have finally decided to give it a try. I already turn to more ladylike styles. I think classic pumps are so chic!!!
I love the outfits…
