Lately, I have found myself dreaming of Paris and all of the fashionable and stylish women and men that walk the streets going about their business simply as a matter of living from day to day. It is this way of dressing for no other occasion than  “I need to wear clothes today” that I am drawn to when I go to my closet each morning and consider what to pull together. After all, while there are many rules tossed about regarding what should or shouldn’t be worn, the key is to dress for yourself and your life. If what you wear makes you smile, if what you wear makes you feel good about who you are and what you are doing, then it is indeed perfect. And in order to reduce the stress of this daily decision making process, it is the capsule wardrobe that I am continually thankful to have organized in my own closet. My staples may be different from yours and visa versa, but the key is to bring into our closets items that speak to us, that serve us well as we go about our days and will last. Enjoy looking at the compilation of images captured from the streets of Paris.

  1. They make it look so effortless and natural too don’t they. No fake tan/hair/teeth/nails/breasts/everything on show. Or if there are, they are certainly not obvious. Great inspiration and one that I love.
