Just as the spring flowers begin to appear in yards, at markets and street vendors, so too do the color sandals, pumps and flats. There is something cheerful about the addition of color to one’s wardrobe especially when we can refrain from covering it up with a coat and unabashedly strolling in stylish color. In this week’s Style Inspiration, color can be found in the footwear, dresses, pants and skirts, so don’t forget to share in the comments below which outfit you are drawn to as I will shop it for next week’s post. Happy perusing!
White seems to be on everyone’s minds, and while it may seem daunting, with the right cut, the proper denim or fabric that is opaque, creating a sleek silhouette, is a wonderful option to have for a spring and summer capsule wardrobe. As a fan of Victoria Beckham’s denim for it’s structure and subtle stretch, her white jeans below are worth saving up for or saving on Hukkster. They will be with you for years to come and transition for casual use as well as a sophisticated look in the evening with a silk blouse and jacket.
I am even more excited to share with you the mid high heel sandal I found for this week’s Outfit of the Week. Available in a list of colors, with just a few inches off the ground and a sturdy heel, Frye’s sandal is a wonderful addition for day or evening looks.

I’ll be pinning this. Love the top picture. I like the heels with the skinny, or cuffed distressed jeans .. a loosely tucked blouse ~ perfect! xxleslie
Oh…Number 4. …with the green skirt. There is something so simple but a bit unique about it (and are those the Frye sandals??!!…have my eye on those)

The pink plus army green is a great combo.
I like the pink and army green as well but those red d’Orsay flats with jeans are my choice!
I LOVE the shoes in the first picture! Do you know the source?
I love the shoes in the first picture, and I love the look of heels with skinny jeans. Unfortunately, I live in a semi-rural area so don’t get to sport that look too often (unless I want to look like Zsa Zsa Gabor in Green Acres!!!).
My vote is for the lovely dress and hat ensemble.
Everyone’s shoe collection should contain a pair of red shoes!
The blue top and green skirt……
I love these shots! So chic.
White top and olive colored skirt. The skirt is a perfect length.
