Hello Spring! Yes, it really has arrived and with it a week of vacation for students in Oregon. And of course mentioning spring without recalling the beauty Paris is beginning to offer would be neglectful. So while I enjoy my buttery croissant from Colville Street Patisserie this morning, I will imagine myself sitting on a balcony in Paris drinking in the leisure and beauty of the blooms (smog not included according to these latest reports).

As the weekend begins, so too does the last room in my home begin to receive its makeover. With some trusted help, I’m excited to put on my paint clothes and bring to life what for so long as only been dancing around in my mind. And on the topic of my home, TSLL home tour begin this week with this post.

So I must ask, how will you be enjoy the first weekend of the new season? Whatever you decide upon, I hope it is delightful, an escape to unwind and enjoy the life you work hard to create during the work week. Here are a few links I wanted to share as the weekend kicks off . . .

  1. as always, there is so much great information her Shannon! I am very excited about this weekend, because I am going to begin planting a garden I have been dreaming about for years. I finally got my act together to have all of the big-heavy jobs done over the winter and now I have a palette of new, rich soil to paint!

I love your house tour theme. Indoors, I am on a big re-org, repurpose mode. As our lives change, I find toy closets can be set up with extra dishes, storage rooms can become dressing rooms, and my poor, abused guest room can be gussied up for guests again.

Have a great weekend Shannon! Wish I were enjoying a delicate croissant and coffee with you!

    sign me, busy bee!
