Places to Visit in Paris


While the list could easily be much longer, I have only included destinations,  I, myself, have visited and have fallen in love with during my trips to Paris. As my travels continue, I will be adding to the list as there are endless options and treasures to discover in the City of Light. Also, if you have enjoyed the streets and boutiques of Paris, please feel free to share destinations you would recommend as I will add them to my list to investigate.

~Angelina’s Teahouse (the chocolate chaud is magnifique, but go early to avoid the crowds – 7:30am open)

~Jacques Genin (gourmet chocolate shop)
~Laduree’s (3 locations)
~Le Grand Colbert (fantastic service! From the movie Something’s Gotta to Give)
~Le Grand Epicerie (a gourmet grocery store below the Bon Marche)
~Marche aux Puces de Saint Ouen (the world’s largest flea market Sat, Sun, Mon 10-6)
~Palais Royal arcades (the shops that line the park behind the entrance to the Palais Royal)
~Poilâne  (the famed sourdough rounds, melt in your mouth chocolate croissants and “punishment” cookies, view my insider post and pics here)

~59 RdS bakery (located in the Marais – guaranteed top quality baguettes)
