Stripes are always a good idea, but whenever they return as a prominent trend on the runway, as they did this past fall when the spring 2018 collections were revealed, designers add their unique touch. This year, it is all about the bold, the wide, and the colorful.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I will forever be wearing my navy and ivory striped tops, but just this year I purchased this DVF colorful silk stripe dress and fell in love with it immediately. The color of stripes that you choose will be unique to you as you want to complement your skin tone, but go ahead and welcome a blouse, a dress, a skirt or just a simple scarf that incorporates this latest trend.

Speaking of navigating the spring trends, on April 1, right here on the blog, TSLL Spring Shopping Guide will be shared (have a look at last spring’s shopping guide here), and you can rest assured, a few of these lovely items shared below will be included. But in the meantime, I have rounded up more than a few modern ideas as well as a few classic striped items you may want to check out below.

  1. The DVF striped cami is beautiful and just enough of a hint of stripes to be on point but not overpowering. I can see this paired with a black blazer, jeans and pumps. So pretty!

  2. Getting excited for Spring! Shannon hope you will post a photo of you wearing that gorgeous DVF dress. So feminine and flirty?
