Casual, comfortable, carefree. Perhaps these are the reasons loose clothing always looks so appealing when worn well. An effortless look is often the effect, but it isn’t always easy to cultivate. Finding the right balance is key: a loose silk blouse and a tailored pencil skirt, or wide-leg trousers and a nipped buttoned up top. However, when the right balance is struck, it is magnificent. 1. Hi Shannon! I’m in South Africa right now where one style is a mid thigh length, light silk tunic with side slits and a collar and buttone down past the chest that is worn over pants. I’m contemplating buying one, just not convinced I would wear it in our Canadian summer. It does work with your loose and lovely theme! I find that these out of country purchases are often not right when I get home.

    1. What an amazing time you must be having! Thank you for sharing what you are seeing in the street style. Don’t dismissing buying a tunic entirely. Could you wear it similar to a maxi dress with sandals and a beautiful long necklace and sunglasses? Something to contemplate because what a signature statement you will make and wonderful conversation starter it would be. 🙂 Enjoy your travels!
