Since I began blogging and stepping into the social media world, I have always appreciated and found style inspiration in model, one-time-style-blogger and fashion influencer Hedvig Sagfjord Opshaug. So when I saw her outfit at London Fashion Week recently I was reminded why: unique, yet still subtle and classic sartorial choices with a modern twist.
Have a look at her outfit above in head-to-toe Chinti & Parker. Their fall collection offers a bountiful array of polka dots, as well as cozy cashmere and wool sweaters and bright stripes. And while it may seem trendy, in many ways, polka dots are similar to stripes or leopard. In the right amount, paired with more subtle classics, they can be in your closet and enjoyed for years. I have shopped a few of their items below that caught my eye.
The brand has been in business for 10 years and was founded and is spearheaded by cousins in London – Anna Singh and Rachael Wood. Dedicated to creating “cleverly designed, exceptionally produced clothing that brings effortless style to every occasion”, this is certainly a brand to watch for modern takes on classics.
But back to Hedvig. Be sure to check out her IG feed as she offers wonderful style inspiration for each season. Living in London and often traveling to warm and seaside destinations, it is her taste in pairings of trends and classic pieces that reminds me to explore but at the same time stick to the hues that work with a pop of personality.
