Shannon, thank you for this wonderful reap of Kate’s outfits. I have been traveling the past few months which in turn leaves little time for the important things like this 🙂 I admire Kate and her style, so classic.
I saw some fashion magazines criticizing her for dressing too classic and not correspondingly to her young age. But I think her style is very appropriate for her position. Plus she has the most wonderful hair, and nice smile, that´s almost enough for her for looking fabulous every time.
Thank you Shannon for sharing these photos. I too admire her style and find it refreshing to see someone in a celebrity position dressing with elegance and grace.
Great post. Love the DFW dress…so pretty!
I agree with all the comments especially about a (young female) public figure dressing with elegance and grace. While I firmly believe we should all do what feels and is right for us and not for outside approval, I also say as women let’s celebrate what Kate represents as a new refreshing role model for young girls. I have to admit I wish she’d swap out her fave wedges for a different look the odd time, like oxfords to pair with her jeans. I’m not a fashion expert like Shannon so I’m guessing she could offer done great ideas for those of us who are not keen on wedges or high heels. Happy spring all!
This was so outstanding! It is a rare thing now to see women dressed so beautifully! I really enjoyed this post Shannon! Although, I would have to say that the Jenny Peckham dress is my favorite!
The Dutchess looks absolutely divine! Love the DVF as well as her casual, nautical look!
Two interesting points from an Australian perspective. The golden yellow Illincic dress was a lovely nod to the Australian emblem of golden wattle and the silver fern on black by Jenny Peckham is a particularly significant emblem to all New Zealanders. I am so enjoying your site, and particularly the depth you have built up over time, Shannon. Thank you
Margaret, Thank you for sharing these details of symbolism. Kate and her stylist clearly put a lot of thought into each wardrobe. She truly radiates thoughtful elegance.
Kate looked wonderful during this whole trip! Her outfits were perfect for every occasion and I think that her make up looked better than usual!
I love how she looked effortless and timeless in all her outfits, big thumb up for her stylist!
