Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick have re-listed their Greenwich Village townhouse which offers five bedrooms, seven working fireplaces and more than 6500 square feet over an expanse of five floors. And while you may imagine yourself living where Carrie Bradshaw’s many Manolos were stored, unfortunately, it has been reported that Broderick and Parker have never called the residence home.
But pay that no mind, as this couple clearly enjoys the purchasing and refurbishing of such New York City grandeur as their taste is indeed impressive. Purchased in 2011 for $19 million, they initially listed the townhouse in 2012 for $25 million before taking it off the market just this past April. After “refreshing” the 20 East 10th Street luxury home, it is now available for $22 million. View the complete listing at Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
A few of my favorite custom details are the double French doors in the kitchen as well as the Juliette balconies in the dining room, and of course the bathtub in the master suite. Coming home to such a tranquil sanctuary would certainly be a dream.
