Any day that requires being on my feet for more than four hours requires a serious consideration of my footwear, and while I’m more apt to push the limit and wear something that is stylish over something that is comfortable (I have to be honest), when the two come together, I am a very happy shopper.

So when Scandinavian shoe company ECCO gave me the opportunity to try their new Dress Comfort collection out, I was eager to give their products a try. As you will see below, in building a capsule wardrobe, I chose their Bow Ballerina in velvet teaberry and the Belaga Handbag, although the choice was difficult as many items caught my eye.

With a mission to design for the needs of the modern woman who desires to be well dressed but capable of immersing herself in the life she loves, ECCO’s Dress Comfort collection spoke to the purpose of what’s at the heart of living a simply luxurious life. With quality at its core, their all-leather goods are meant to last and continue to remain stylish for years to come.

Upon trying on the ballet flats, I was giddy over their immense comfort. My feet were hugged superbly and provided support to run around tending to my schedule; at the same time, I couldn’t help adore their soft red hue as they added just the right amount of color to a neutral wardrobe.

And as for a quality handbag, the Belaga is the perfect everyday size as it has the ideal handle drop for wearing over your shoulder or on your arm and ample room for everything the day may call for. (Note: both items come in more colors.) Have a look below at the outfits they inspired, and you may remember last week’s Outfit of the Week which featured an ECCO handbag as well. Needless to say, I’m a fan!

~Disclosure: While Ecco provided TSLL with the handbag and shoes, all opinions are my own.

  1. I will be going to Paris in summer and am looking at ballerina flats in that exact color but under Longchamps. Will check Ecco while I am there too.

  2. I love Ecco shoes and wear them daily. They are truly as you described it. For a few years I am sticking exclusively to Ecco and Geox for my foot ware and my feet are extremely grateful for that.

  3. I have been an avid Ecco fan since my first job selling shoes as an 18 year old college student. No other shoe is as comfortable for this wide footed – narrow heeled gal, plus they last for a very long time. I still wear some of my first pairs, bought back in 2008!
