No matter what I have in the closet or how much discretionary money I have available, I will always find time to seek out style inspiration. After all, when I see an item styled well, I can put it on my list as worth saving up for. For example, suede knee high or over-the-knee boots. The above image demonstrates that they can be worn with a more classic ensemble and add that unexpected, subtle statement. Hmmm . . . perhaps this item will be on my list when the end of season sales begin next month. Stuart Weitzman’s classic black perhaps?

Love the boots + trench. Class.
Shannon, I love the new look of your blog, bravo! My younger daughter dresses eclectically and looks like she just stepped out of Vogue with a mix of vintage and designer. At my age I feel I’ve earned the right to get it simple and classic:) Although I did my some black satin cargo pants this summer that were a huge hit. Thank you again for all of your inspiration, I love seeing your emails in my inbox!
Heather, the black satin cargo pants sound fantastic! The addition of a surprise element is always fun and a great idea. Thank you for stopping by this morning. 🙂
Hi Shannon
How do I access your pics which are now along the bottom of the page. Nothing happens when I click on them.
Elaine, you can still click on them, you just have to double click. They have each been linked to their original source. Some will lead you to Pinterest and others to another more specific source.
