The fall collections are gradually beginning to become available in shops and online, so I have begun to poke around in preparation for TSLL’s annual Fall Shopping Guide (check out 2017’s here) which will be posted on Saturday September 1st right here on the blog.

Never a bad idea to begin saving items that catch your eye to Shoptagr; the trend of simple and streamlined certainly caught my attention. Monochromatic and much white as well, the idea is to offer a svelte silhouette without showing excessive skin or curves.

Whether wearing one item such as a dress or many as you layer and combine similar hues, the look is universally flattering.

Interestingly enough, florals are a trend worth watching for fall this go-round, and of course, anything classic, such as the camel wool coat below, is always worth adding to your closet as it goes with 99% of what you own.

Below I have shopped separate items that work with one or all of these three trends, and pulled an outfit together for your as well. Briefly, when it comes to accessories, earrings are having a moment of retro-esque appeal, so if you are looking for signature adornment for your lobes, have some fun shopping.

  1. Glad to see knee-high boots still a thing. I have MAJOR $$ invested and was worried (after last years bootie craze) they would be out.

    1. You are definitely going to be just fine. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by. The key is to never buy too trendy anything if you want to wear it for many seasons. Keep the trendy purchases small in size and price.

  2. The new season will be a welcome relief as we’re sweltering in France
It’s always good to be one step ahead and plan for what’s needed. Love the camel coat. A true perennial. I’ve already earmarked a floral blouse not too dissimilar to the photo. Only difference is It’s ethically sourced. Is that an Oscar lookalike the model is carrying??
