With a yearning for spring and always room for more French-themed articles, you’ll find clothing, original art work, get-up-and-groove music and more . . .
I was recently introduced to the talents of artist Cristina Goia, and found her oil on canvas paintings of fruit, flowers and leaves to offer a simplistic beauty that spoke to my aesthetic tastes. Priced very reasonably, most are under $100, if you are looking to add original art to your abode, and prefer a similar aesthetic, be sure to have a look. With the A-listers up and dancing, this song will prompt you to move even if you aren’t the dancing type. Up until Sunday night, “Happy” was only part of the Despicable Me 2 album; however, with a late announcement earlier last week, Pharrell’s publicist shared his new album GIRL would drop just hours after the Oscars began. With very positive reviews, Williams’ musical writing and performing talents look to have created an album worth purchasing in its entirety. Click here to see the music video that helped launch the international success of “Happy” and here in case you missed the Oscar performance.
A boatneck neckline is one of those styles that looks flattering on almost every woman. And this classically cut cotton sweater makes me ache for summer evenings that have just a hint of a chill.
Tory Burch seems to know how to create style for the most casual of occasions and this navy tunic is no exception. Worn over a swimsuit or paired with white skinny cropped jeans or shorts, you will be cool, comfortable and forever stylish.
