Two television programs with watching have returned and simple touches to your home and wardrobe to add your original flair . . .
The warehouse sale continues at Pottery Barn, and the white with pearl embroidered duvet would complete beautifully a simple bedroom facelift. Multiple color options for the embroidered detail are available and priced under $110. Shop the entire warehouse sale here.
A simple necklace that can work for casual or more dressed up occasions is what caused me to gravitate towards All the Wire’s personalized bar necklace. Choose any ten letter combination or leave it blank, their best-seller, I first caught a glimpse of this necklace on Courtney Kerr’s blog. Wear it with other necklaces or completely on its own, for only $30, you won’t break the bank, and are certain to add a little personality to your wardrobe.
White pitchers always seem to catch my eye as they are quite versatile, add height to the table decor and simply look stunning. Billy Cotton’s stoneware pitcher for only $39 is just the sort of pitcher that would work as a a beautiful container for liquids for meals or a gorgeous vase for the season’s flowers brought home from the market.
For two days only (beginning January 20th), all full-priced items at J.Crew are 20% off with promo code 2DAYSONLY. These silk camisoles caught my eye for layering, this classic simple clutch is perfect to have on hand and this black tweed skirt would be a lovely addition to a winter wardrobe. And be sure to check their sale items as you can take an additional 40% off. Oh, and free shipping as well!
New episodes of the Barefoot Contessa will begin this coming Sunday, January 26th at 11:30 am (EST) on the Food Network. With a focus on food for celebrations, the first episode is organized around a house warming party for Lidey Heuck, a new social media star, who lives in East Hampton. I don’t know about you, but I’m always eager for more simple, yet delicious ideas from Ina Garten.
I just recently became an avid viewer of PBS (via BBC) modern series Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman (as Dr. Watson). With the backdrop of London, seeing the sights again that I fell in love with just two years ago immediately piqued my interest. So after catching up on the past two seasons, I was eager to see how Season 3 would begin. Well, as it aired in the states this past Sunday, it did not disappoint. You can view the entire episode on PBS here and catch up on seasons 1 and 2 on Netflix or Amazon Prime. With only three episodes in the season, on par with previous seasons, Sunday nights just became all the more intriguing.
